Employees and Drivers

• TSA Certified: 100% of our driver and admin staff are TSA screened, trained and certified.
• Certified Cargo Screening Facility (CCSF): Austin Drivers and staff are trained to screen and transport screened cargo.
• DOT Background Checks
• Criminal Background Checks
• Drivers and helpers wear uniforms and carry ID badges
• CCTV: In the offices
• Security Patrols: A third party security company provides random patrolling and sometimes security guards at both locations.

• Trucks: Equipped with Air Ride Suspensions, E-track, Logistics Posts, Over Sized Boxes, Oversized Lift Gates and all display the Action Freight Logo.
• Communications: Drivers enter PODs and other updates on their smart phones and this information can be uploaded to our customers within minutes.
• Technology: EDI uploads provide milepost updates, PODs and charges automatically. EDI and Web Tracking information is updated every few minutes.
• Driver Corp: Our experienced drivers are uniformed and carry company identification. They are trained and certified in all TSA and safety requirements. Our mix of employee drivers and independent contractors provides us with motivated and professional drivers.
• Management: Our management staff is always looking for ways to improve customer service and efficiencies in our operation.
• Customer Service: We have dedicated customer service employees on staff, but the entire company is geared toward providing the service that retains the customer.
• Attitude: We believe that Attitude Is Everything. You’ll see our positive attitude in the way we do our business.

• Commercial Pick Up and Delivery: Business to business. The commercial first mile/last mile is our primary service offering.
• Residential Delivery: The fastest growing part of our business. White glove, Threshold, lite assembly, appointments, notifications; we do it all for Home Delivery.
• Conventions: Austin and San Antonio have a very busy convention business and Action Freight is right there to facilitate the convention delivery and recovery process.
• Music: The music scene in Austin is well known with SxSW, ACL Music Fest, Austin 360 Amphitheater and all the music venues in the city. San Antonio is less heralded but also has a vibrant live music pulse. In both cities we are there all night and all day picking up and delivering instruments and equipment.
• Asset Recovery: Action is very experienced in asset recovery in Austin and in San Antonio. Packing on site, listing serial numbers, taking pictures, repacking is all a part of the Asset Recovery job.
• Container Freight Station (CFS): In Austin and San Antonio receives bonded cargo pending release and disposition.
• Customs Exam Site (CES): Action acts as a CES to facilitate Customs exams in Austin only. This service is not offered in San Antonio.
• Certified Cargo Screening Facility: Action is the only independent CCSF in Austin. All of our Austin drivers are certified to pick up and deliver screened cargo regardless of who screened the cargo. This service is not offered in San Antonio.
